Communities of Practice
Employment First Missouri hosts Communities of Practices, providing opportunities for mutual learning and sharing of ideas. Each Community of Practice is focused on a specific topic area. Community of Practice sessions typically consist of a short presentation on a topic, followed by discussion and dialogue. Community of Practices meet once a month for an hour, over several months. There are currently two Communities of Practice.p>
Support Coordinator Learning Community
This community of practice is for support coordinators and focuses on community employment. The purpose of this community is to share strategies, best practices, and learn from colleagues across the state. For support coordinators only, please. Upcoming sessions:

Technology and Employment Learning Community
This community of practice focuses on use of technology to advance employment, aligned with Missouri's Technology First Initiative. Registration for this Community of Practice is currently closed. Stay tuned for the next edition of the technology Community of Practice, to be announced in late spring/summer 2026.
